Project Overview

An activity book that features edible, Pacific Northwest mushrooms! What started off as an appreciation of activity books and mycology turned into the perfect passion project. The book includes recipes, basic fungi learning, and foraging tips for the aspirational outdoor lover.

How might a different take on coloring books pique more interest and turn heads?

A Feast of Fungi started as a seed of an idea and grew into much more. Fieldwork, research, and interviews involving mushroom enthusiasts of the Northwest kicked off this project. Insights from that initial phase ultimately laid the foundation for the creation of the assets and recipe sourcing. This book is more than a coloring book — it's an activity book with a myriad of functions!
